Once the manufacturer has inspected the goods, they will issue a determination. If the claim is accepted as a warrantable defect, the manufacturer will repair the item, provide a replacement, or issue a credit at their discretion, and PSD will pass this remedy on to the Customer immediately.
However, if the claim is rejected (for example, due to evidence of misuse, dry running, or normal wear and tear), the warranty is void. In such cases, the Customer acknowledges that they are liable for any "strip and quote," testing, or inspection fees charged by the manufacturer.
The Customer is also responsible for return freight costs if they wish to have the rejected item returned to them.
