Spare Parts List

✓ Tick the parts you need. KSB parts are matched to the pump type series, size, impeller, materials and shaft seal, so the type designation and order/serial number on your nameplate are all we need to get them right. Not sure which items? Add a photo of the nameplate and we’ll work it out for you.

SelectWear / Service ItemFunction & when to replace
Common Service Kits
Mechanical Seals, motor end & pump end (part no. 433.01/.02)The two bi-directional mechanical seals in tandem with a lubricant reservoir between them. KSB’s 2-year spares list holds more seals than any other item; renew both if the leakage sensor trips or the lubricant is contaminated.
Impeller (part no. 230)The S, F, E, D or K impeller fitted to your hydraulic system. Replace when worn, eroded or damaged so flow and head drop off, matched to the impeller code and material variant on your nameplate.
Casing Wear Ring (part no. 502)Sets the running clearance at the impeller inlet. When the clearance between impeller and casing wear ring is excessive, flow and head fall; check and adjust the clearance and renew the ring when it is worn.
Bearings, pump end & motor end (part no. 321, 322)Radial ball bearing at the pump end and radial roller bearing at the motor end, grease-packed for life on standard builds. Both appear in KSB’s recommended 2-year spares; renew if noisy or rough.
Set of Sealing Elements, motor and hydraulic system (part no. 99-9)KSB’s own sets of O-rings, joint rings and seals for the motor and for the hydraulic system. Fit a new set whenever the pump is opened for seal, impeller or bearing work.
Wear & Consumable Parts
Wear Plate (part no. 135)The wear plate at the impeller inlet on F and K impeller builds. Renew when the gap to the impeller has opened up and performance has dropped, or if it is scored by solids.
Impeller Wear Ring (part no. 503)Fitted to the impeller on designs that run against a casing wear ring. Replace together with the casing wear ring (502) to restore the running clearance.
Cable Gland (part no. 834)Seals the power cable entry into the motor. Listed in KSB’s 2-year spares; renew if damaged, if the cable is changed, or if moisture has reached the terminal area.
Lip Seal (part no. 421.01)The lip seal shown in the motor-side sealing arrangement on the general assembly drawings. Renew when the pump is dismantled for seal or bearing work.
Profile Seal (part no. 410)The profile seal on specific designs per the KSB parts list. Fit new whenever the joint it seals is opened.
Impeller Hub Cap (part no. 260)Covers the impeller fastening on specific designs. Renew if it is damaged, worn by solids or lost during service.
Other Core Parts
Motor Unit (part no. 80-1)The complete submersible motor unit, matched to the motor size, poles and version (UE/WE/XE/YE/ZE or UN/WN/XN/YN/ZN). Held in stock by larger fleets per KSB’s recommended spares list.
Rotor (part no. 818)The motor rotor on the extended shaft that carries the impeller. Replace if the shaft is damaged at the seal or bearing seats or the rotor has rubbed.
Stator (part no. 81-59)The motor stator and winding shown on the Motor E assembly drawings. Replace with original KSB parts if the winding is defective; on Motor N builds the motor is supplied as the motor unit (80-1).
Discharge Cover (part no. 163)Closes the back of the pump casing and carries the shaft passage and shaft seal. Replace if it is worn by abrasive solids or damaged at the seal seat.
Pump Casing (part no. 101)The volute casing with the discharge nozzle. Replace if it is eroded, cracked or worn through, in grey cast iron, white cast iron or duplex steel to suit your material variant.
Bearing Housing (part no. 350)Supports the shaft bearings between the motor and the hydraulic system. Replace if the bearing seats are worn or the housing is damaged.

How we confirm the exact part: KSB Amarex KRT parts depend on the size, impeller type, motor size and version (Motor E or Motor N), material variant and installation type fitted to your pump. The part numbers shown are KSB part numbers from the operating manual’s parts lists; your nameplate carries the type designation (e.g. Amarex KRT K 150-401/80 4UNG-S) and the KSB order number, which together pin down the build. Tick the items above and add a nameplate photo, and we’ll confirm the correct parts for your exact pump.

Models

Parts are available across the Amarex KRT size range; the size after the impeller code on your nameplate (e.g. Amarex KRT F 50-215) is the discharge nozzle DN and maximum impeller diameter. The sizes below are a selection of those listed in KSB’s Motor E and Motor N manuals.

From the variant tables in KSB’s Amarex KRT operating manuals: Motor E covers DN 40–300 (2-, 4-, 6- and 8-pole motors) and Motor N covers DN 100–700 (4- to 12-pole motors). Not every impeller type is offered in every material variant; your type designation shows which applies. Recommended 2-year spares are rated for 17,800 operating hours.

Troubleshooting

Pump runs but does not deliver

Likely cause: pump or piping not completely vented, or the pump intake clogged by deposits. Action: vent the pump (installation type S: lift it off the flanged bend and lower it again) and clean the intake, pump components and lift check valve.

Flow or head too low

Likely cause: excessive clearance between the impeller and the casing wear ring or wear plate, or wear of internal components. Action: check and adjust the clearance; renew the casing wear ring (part no. 502), wear plate (part no. 135) or impeller (part no. 230) if worn.

Excessive current or power input

Likely cause: dirt or fibres in the clearance between casing wall and impeller, a sluggish rotor, or the pump running at part load or overload. Action: check that the impeller rotates freely and clean it if necessary; check the pump’s operating data against the duty point.

Vibration and noise in operation

Likely cause: wrong direction of rotation, a clogged supply line or impeller, or a defective rolling element bearing. Action: check the motor connection and control system, remove deposits from the pump and piping, and have the bearings (part no. 321, 322) checked.

Pump tripped by the leakage sensor

Likely cause: leakage into the motor or seal area has been detected by the leakage sensor. Action: have the cause found and fixed by qualified personnel; check the mechanical seals (part no. 433.01/.02) and sealing elements.

Motor will not run or keeps tripping

Likely cause: lack of voltage, a defective motor winding or power cable, or the winding temperature switch has tripped. Action: check the electrical installation and cables; the motor restarts once cooled, and a defective winding or cable is renewed with original KSB parts.
