Product Summary

Genuine OEM spare parts for the KSB Etanorm single-stage, back pull-out volute casing pump built to EN 733, used across Australia for water supply, HVAC, irrigation, fire-fighting and general industrial transfer. Every Etanorm shares the same build (impeller, casing wear rings, mechanical seal or gland packing on a shaft sleeve, and a ball-bearing bracket), so tick what you need and we’ll match the parts to your nameplate, such as ETN 065-040-160 GG.

Type: Single-stage end-suction volute casing pump Build: Back pull-out · EN 733 · mechanical seal or gland packing Fluid temperature: −30 to +140 °C (per manual)

Spare Parts List

✓ Tick the parts you need. KSB parts are matched to the pump type series, size, impeller, materials, seal code and bearing bracket, so the type designation and order number on your nameplate are all we need to get them right. Not sure which items? Add a photo of the nameplate and we’ll work it out for you.

SelectWear / Service ItemFunction & when to replace
Common Service Kits
Mechanical Seal (part no. 433)The EN 12756 mechanical seal that seals the shaft at the casing cover; double seals are 433.01/.02. KSB lists it in the recommended spares stock; replace when leakage becomes visible or after dry running.
Impeller (part no. 230)The closed radial impeller, trimmed to the diameter on your nameplate. Replace if eroded, cavitated or out of balance, or when internal wear has reduced the flow rate.
Casing Wear Rings (part nos. 502.01/.02)Renewable rings that set the clearance gap between impeller and casing. KSB says to fit new rings once the gap exceeds the maximum (0.9 mm on cast iron or bronze impellers, 1.5 mm on stainless).
Radial Ball Bearings (part nos. 321.01/.02)The pump-end and drive-end deep groove bearings in the bearing bracket, sized by shaft unit (e.g. 6305 to 6312 C3). Replace if running hot, noisy or rough.
Gland Packing Set (part no. 461)The packing rings for gland-packed Etanorm pumps, named as a set in the KSB recommended spares list. Renew when the gland can no longer be adjusted to a steady drip.
Wear & Consumable Parts
Shaft Sleeve (part no. 523)Carries the mechanical seal and protects the shaft. Replace if scored or rough under the seal, and fit a new seal at the same time.
Shaft Protecting Sleeve (part no. 524)The sleeve that runs under the gland packing. Replace when score marks or roughness cause excessive leakage at the packing.
Gaskets (part nos. 400.10/.75)Seal the casing cover to the volute casing and other joints. KSB says always fit new gaskets of the same thickness whenever the pump is opened.
Joint Rings (part no. 411)Sealing rings under the screw plugs and connections (and 411.15/.31 on double seal and cap-nut versions). Renew whenever the plugs are removed.
O-ring (part no. 412.15)O-ring listed in the recommended spares stock for double mechanical seals in tandem arrangement. Check for damage and renew when the seal is serviced.
Lantern Ring (part no. 458)Feeds barrier fluid into the gland packing. Replace if worn or blocked when repacking the pump.
Neck Ring (part no. 457)The ring at the base of the stuffing box, listed in KSB’s recommended spares for packed pumps. Replace if worn when repacking.
Other Core Parts
Shaft (part no. 210)Carries the impeller and runs in the bearing bracket. KSB includes it in the recommended spares stock; replace if bent, worn at the bearing seats or damaged at the impeller end.
Volute Casing (part no. 102)The radially split casing with integral feet. Replace if eroded, corroded or cracked, matched to your size and material code.
Casing Cover (part no. 161)Closes the back of the casing and houses the shaft seal; conical for single seals, cylindrical for packing and double seals. Replace if the seal chamber is damaged or eroded.
Bearing Bracket (part no. 330)Holds the shaft and bearings, grease or oil lubricated, standard or reinforced. Replace if cracked or if the bearing seats are worn.
Bearing Covers (part nos. 360.01/.02)Close the bearing bracket at each end and locate the bearings. Replace if damaged or if the seal faces are worn.

How we confirm the exact part: KSB Etanorm parts depend on the size, impeller diameter, casing and impeller materials, seal code, bearing bracket and casing cover design fitted to your pump. The part numbers shown are KSB part numbers from the Etanorm operating manual; your nameplate carries the type designation (e.g. ETN 065-040-160 GG) and the KSB order number, which together pin down the build. Tick the items above and add a nameplate photo, and we’ll confirm the correct parts for your exact pump.

Models

Parts are available across the Etanorm size range; the size code after ETN on your nameplate (suction nozzle, discharge nozzle and nominal impeller diameter, e.g. ETN 065-040-160) identifies the pump. The sizes below are those listed in the KSB operating manual.

From the KSB Etanorm operating manual general assembly drawings. Bearing brackets are WS 25, 35 or 55 (standard, 6305 to 6311 C3 bearings) or WS 50, 60 or 60.1 (reinforced, 6310 to 6312 C3); the shaft unit for your pump is on its data sheet. Flow and head depend on the impeller diameter and speed on your nameplate.

Troubleshooting

Pump delivers too little flow

Likely cause: pump or piping not fully vented, a clogged supply line or impeller, suction lift too high, or worn internal components. Action: vent and prime, clear deposits from the pump and piping, check the suction conditions, and fit new casing wear rings (502) or impeller (230) if worn.

Excessive leakage at the shaft seal

Likely cause: a worn shaft seal, unsuitable seal materials, or score marks on the shaft sleeve. Action: fit a new mechanical seal (433) or packing (461) and replace the shaft sleeve (523) or shaft protecting sleeve (524) if it is scored.

Leakage at the pump casing

Likely cause: defective sealing element between volute casing and casing cover, or loose tie bolts. Action: fit a new gasket (400) between the volute casing and casing cover and re-tighten the bolts.

Bearings running hot

Likely cause: misalignment, too much or too little lubricant, increased axial thrust, or wrong coupling distance. Action: re-align the pump set, correct the lubricant, clean the impeller balancing holes and replace the casing wear rings.

Vibration during operation

Likely cause: rotor out of balance, defective bearings, misalignment, or flow rate too low. Action: clean and re-balance the impeller, replace the bearings (321), re-align the pump set and raise the minimum flow.

Motor overload

Likely cause: back pressure lower than specified, fluid density or viscosity higher than ordered, or speed too high. Action: re-adjust to the duty point and, if overloading continues, have the impeller turned down.
