KSB GIW LCC-M Slurry Pumps
Spare Parts for KSB GIW LCC-M Metal Slurry Pumps
Product Summary
Genuine OEM spare parts for the KSB GIW LCC-M hard-metal slurry pump, whose wet end is just three parts (shell, screw-on impeller and suction plate/liner) for quick maintenance on sand, gravel, tailings, coal and process slurries. Tick the parts you need and we’ll match them to the size on your nameplate, such as LCC-M 150-500.
Spare Parts List
✓ Tick the parts you need. KSB GIW slurry pump parts are matched to the pump type, size, impeller, wet-end materials, shaft seal and bearing assembly, so the type designation and serial number on your nameplate are all we need to get them right. Not sure which items? Add a photo of the nameplate and we’ll work it out for you.
| Select | Wear / Service Item | Function & when to replace |
|---|---|---|
| Common Service Kits | ||
| Impeller | The twisted three-vane impeller that screws onto the shaft, in wear-resistant alloys and other materials. Replace when worn vanes and shrouds no longer give the head the duty needs. | |
| Suction Plate / Liner | The replaceable suction plate/liner facing the impeller nose. Replace when worn through or gouged; reset the impeller gap with the pedestal adjusting screw after fitting. | |
| Bearings (cartridge bearing assembly) | Double-row tapered roller bearings that carry the mechanical and thrust loads, sealed with bearing isolators. Replace on noise, heat or contaminated oil or grease. | |
| Shaft Seal Packing & Lantern Ring | For the standard KE stuffing box with lantern ring and packing. Renew the packing when leakage can no longer be held by gland adjustment. | |
| Wear & Consumable Parts | ||
| Shell | The single-wall hard-metal shell (casing). Replace when wear or gouging threatens the wall or the liner fits. | |
| Mechanical Seal | For pumps where gland water cannot be added to the process. Renew at the first sign of leakage. | |
| Expeller | The expeller rotor that balances pressure at the gland packing for minimal dilution. Replace when worn and the gland starts to leak. Not used on HP pumps. | |
| Throttle Bushing | Used in place of the lantern ring on throttle bushing stuffing box designs. Renew with the packing when worn. | |
| Other Core Parts | ||
| Shaft | The pump shaft (50, 70, 100 or 125 mm at the coupling end). Replace if the impeller threads, bearing seats or keyway are damaged. | |
| Bearing Isolators | The isolators fitted as standard to keep slurry and water out of the cartridge bearing assembly. Replace if damaged or leaking. | |
| Cartridge Bearing Assembly | The machined cast-iron cylindrical housing with bearings, shaft and isolators. Swap as a unit for a fast overhaul. | |
| Pedestal | Cast-iron pedestal with self-aligning bearing supports and the integrated impeller gap adjustment screw. Replace if cracked or the fits are damaged. | |
How we confirm the exact part: KSB GIW LCC-M parts depend on the pump size, shaft and pedestal size, impeller type, wet-end alloy and shaft seal arrangement (mechanical seal, stuffing box or expeller seal) on your pump. No public parts list gives KSB GIW part numbers, so parts are listed by function; your nameplate carries the size (e.g. 150-500) and the serial number, which together pin down the build. Tick the items above and add a nameplate photo, and we’ll confirm the correct parts for your exact pump.
Models
LCC sizes read discharge diameter (mm) – impeller diameter (mm), e.g. 150-500 (6 in x 20 in). Select your size below or choose “Not sure”.
Models & Key Specifications
| Size | Size (in) | Suction x discharge (in) | Shaft size (coupling dia.) |

| 50-230 | 2x9 | 3 x 2 | 2 (50 mm) |
| 80-300 | 3x12 | 4 x 3 | 2 (50 mm) |
| 100-400 | 4x16 | 6 x 4 | 2, 3 (50, 70 mm) |
| 150-500 | 6x20 | 8 x 6 | 3, 4 (70, 100 mm) |
| 200-610 | 8x24 | 10 x 8 | 3, 4, 5 (70–125 mm) |
| 250-660 | 10x26 | 12 x 10 | 3, 4, 5 (70–125 mm) |
| 300-710 | 12x28 | 14 x 12 | 3, 4, 5 (70–125 mm) |
From the LCC Metal Dimensions table in the GIW LCC Pump Series brochure. High pressure builds cover 50–200 mm discharge (24 bar, 3-stage); temperature limit 120°C.
Troubleshooting
Low flow rate or pump losing head
Likely cause: blocked suction or discharge piping, a clogged impeller, air entrainment or worn wet-end parts. Action: clear the blockage, vent and prime the pump and piping, reset the nose gap, and fit a new impeller or liner if head can no longer be met.
Motor overload
Likely cause: high fluid density or viscosity, excessive flow from a lower-than-expected system head, or speed too high. Action: check the duty against the design, reduce speed or adjust the system, and contact us with the pump details for a review.
Bearing temperature rise
Likely cause: bearing failure, the wrong lubricant quantity or type, a misaligned unit, or hot or insulating conditions around the bearing assembly. Action: replace the bearings and test the lubricant for contamination, correct the lubricant and alignment, and clear dirt from the bearing assembly.
Excessive shaft seal leakage
Likely cause: wrong packing material or adjustment, seal water pressure too high or low, or worn shaft seal parts. Action: adjust the packing or seal water pressure, and renew the packing, shaft sleeve or other worn seal parts as needed.
Operating vibration
Likely cause: insufficient suction head (NPSHA), low-flow operation, piping resonance, a misaligned unit or worn, damaged or loose parts. Action: raise the sump level and open suction valves, avoid running below 30% of BEP flow, check pipe supports and alignment, and renew worn parts.
Pump overheating
Likely cause: running against blocked discharge or suction piping, or low-flow operation. Action: shut the pump down immediately, remove the blockage or open the valve, and increase the flow rate before restarting.
