KSB Movitec Pumps
Spare Parts for KSB Movitec Vertical Multistage Pumps
Product Summary
Genuine OEM spare parts for the KSB Movitec high-pressure in-line pump, the stainless steel vertical multistage pump for clean or slightly aggressive aqueous fluids in water supply, pressure boosting and industrial duties. Tick what you need and we’ll match the parts to your nameplate designation, such as Movitec VSF 40/10-2 B.
Spare Parts List
✓ Tick the parts you need. KSB parts are matched to the pump size, number of stages, material variant and seal code, so the type designation and order/serial number on your nameplate are all we need to get them right. Not sure which items? Add a photo of the nameplate and we’ll work it out for you.
| Select | Wear / Service Item | Function & when to replace |
|---|---|---|
| Common Service Kits | ||
| Mechanical Seal (part no. 433) | The EN 12756 bellows-type seal in fixed, Easy Access or cartridge design, identified by the seal code on the nameplate. Replace when it leaks along the shaft, after dry running or if the fluid attacks the elastomers. | |
| O-rings (part no. 412) | Seal the stage casings, cover and pump casing. Replace when leaking at the casing cover and lower section, in a material resistant to the fluid if the old ones were attacked. | |
| Impeller (part no. 230) | The stage impellers stacked on the shaft through the ring-section hydraulic. Replace if clogged beyond cleaning, eroded or damaged; worn impellers cut delivery and pressure. | |
| Bearing Sleeve (part no. 529) | Runs in the product-lubricated tungsten carbide / aluminium oxide stage bearing. Replace if scored or worn, or when the pump begins to vibrate or run noisily. | |
| Wear & Consumable Parts | ||
| Spacer Sleeve (part no. 525) | Spaces the impellers along the shaft and sets each stage position. Replace if worn, damaged or corroded when the hydraulic is dismantled. | |
| Gasket (part no. 400) | Seals the casing joint at the base of the pump. Fit a new gasket whenever that joint is opened. | |
| Impeller Wear Ring (part no. 503) | Holds the running clearance at the impeller on the larger Movitec 90B and 125B. Replace when delivery or pressure has fallen through wear of internal parts. | |
| Casing Wear Ring (part no. 502.02) | The stationary wear ring in the casing of the Movitec 125B, running against the impeller wear ring. Replace with the impeller wear ring when clearances have opened up. | |
| Coupling (part no. 862) | Connects the motor shaft to the pump shaft inside the drive lantern. Replace if worn or damaged; halves fitted out of parallel cause vibration and noise. | |
| Other Core Parts | ||
| Shaft (part no. 210) | The pump shaft carrying the impellers, sleeves and seal. The manual calls for a new shaft if it is damaged and the seal leaks along it, or if the shaft is defective. | |
| Stage Casing (part no. 108) | The ring-section casings that house each impeller stage. Replace if eroded, cracked or damaged at the O-ring faces. | |
| Diffuser (part no. 171) | Guides flow from each impeller to the next stage on the Movitec 40B and 60B. Replace if worn, eroded or clogged beyond cleaning. | |
| Pump Shroud (part no. 10-6) | The outer sleeve enclosing the stage stack between pump casing and cover, clamped by the tie bolts. Replace if dented, corroded or leaking. | |
| Drive Lantern (part no. 341) | Carries the motor on top of the pump and houses the coupling and seal. Replace if cracked or the motor spigot is damaged. | |
| Motor (part no. 800) | The surface-cooled KSB squirrel-cage motor, IP55, matched to the frame size and kW on your nameplate so the new motor bolts straight onto the drive lantern. | |
How we confirm the exact part: KSB Movitec parts depend on the design (V, VC, VM, VS or LH), size, number of stages, product generation, material variant and seal code of your pump. The part numbers shown are KSB part numbers from the manual’s component lists; your nameplate gives the designation (e.g. Movitec VSF 40/10-2 B), the seal code and the KSB order and serial numbers, which together pin down the build. Tick the items above and add a nameplate photo, and we’ll confirm the correct parts for your exact pump.
Models
Parts are available across the Movitec size range; the number after the design letters on your nameplate (e.g. Movitec VSF 40/10-2 B) is the size, followed by the number of stages and the generation letter. The sizes below are those listed in the KSB Movitec operating manual.

From the KSB Movitec operating manual (1798.82/17-EN): minimum/maximum flow at fluid temperature up to 20 °C, seal design availability and component lists. Pressure and temperature limits for your pump are on its nameplate; 60 Hz ranges differ.
Troubleshooting
Leakage along the shaft
Likely cause: worn or damaged seal faces, a stuck mechanical seal, elastomers attacked by the fluid, or dry running. Action: replace the shaft seal in a suitable elastomer and pressure class, and replace the shaft if it is damaged.
Leakage at the casing cover or lower casing
Likely cause: worn O-rings, O-rings not resistant to the fluid, or piping that stresses the pump. Action: replace the O-rings in a suitable material and connect the piping free of stress.
Pump vibrates and runs noisily
Likely cause: coupling halves not parallel, rotor adjusted incorrectly, insufficient inflow, cavitation or defective pump or motor bearings. Action: re-align the coupling, re-adjust the rotor, improve suction conditions and replace defective bearings.
Insufficient delivery or pressure
Likely cause: closed valves, air in the pump or suction line, wrong direction of rotation, or a clogged impeller or diffuser. Action: open the valves, vent the pump and suction line, check the electrical connection and clean the pump.
Motor runs but pump does not turn
Likely cause: a defective pump or motor shaft, or a shaft coupling that has come loose. Action: tighten the coupling fastening screws and replace the shaft if it is defective.
Pump does not start
Likely cause: no voltage at the terminals or a tripped thermal motor protection device. Action: check the power supply, circuit and fuses, then reset the thermal motor protection.
