Troubleshooting, Common Faults & Solutions

No Discharge from Pump

Likely Cause: Incorrect rotation direction, pump unprimed, or blocked delivery line

Action / Part: Verify motor rotation matches nameplate arrow (bi-directional capable), prime pump with liquid, clear blockages in discharge pipework

Loss of Capacity / Reduced Flow

Likely Cause: Worn rotor/stator elements, insufficient NPSH, air entering suction line, or belt drive slipping

Action / Part: Replace rotor (25A) and/or stator (22A), increase suction head, check gland adjustment for air leaks, re-tension drive belts

Pump Stalls at Start-Up

Likely Cause: Product viscosity too high, low voltage, or flexishaft damage

Action / Part: Heat product to reduce viscosity, verify electrical supply voltage, inspect flexishaft (26A) for visible damage or distortion

Excessive Noise and Vibration
