NETZSCH NEMO BH Pumps
Spare Parts for NEMO BH Hygienic Progressive Cavity Pumps
Product Summary
Genuine and compatible spare parts for the NETZSCH NEMO® BH hygienic progressive cavity pump in compact block design, used across Australia in dairy, beverage, food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical plants for gentle, low-pulsation transfer with CIP/SIP cleaning. Every BH from the NM015 to the NM105 shares the same hygienic build (polished stainless wetted parts, FDA-compliant stator, open hygienic pin joints and a food-suitable mechanical seal), so tick what you need and we’ll match the exact parts to your nameplate (e.g. NM045 BH).
Spare Parts List
✓ Tick the parts you need. NEMO BH wear parts are matched to pump size, rotor/stator geometry and stator elastomer, so your nameplate model and serial number are all we need to get them right. Not sure which items? Add a photo of the nameplate and we’ll work out the parts for you.
| Select | Wear / Service Item | Function & when to replace |
|---|---|---|
| Common Service Kits | ||
| Stator | The elastomer sleeve the rotor turns in, in FDA-compliant compounds (food-grade NBR, EPDM or FKM, chosen to suit your product and CIP chemicals). Replace when output drops, after any dry running, or if the elastomer has swollen, hardened or torn. | |
| Rotor | The polished stainless steel helical rotor. Replace it with the stator if it is worn, scored or pitted, as a rough rotor quickly damages a new stator and holds product residue. | |
| Hygienic Pin Joint Parts | Wear parts for the patented open hygienic pin joints at each end of the coupling rod. The joint has no dead space and is lubricated by the product itself; renew the set when you find play, knocking or wear marks. | |
| Mechanical Seal | The hygienic mechanical seal on the drive shaft, single-acting as standard or double-acting for sticky, crystallising or critical products (several face materials available). Replace at the first sign of leakage or face damage. | |
| Gasket & O-Ring Set | Casing, seal and connection O-rings and gaskets in FDA-compliant elastomer. Renew whenever the pump is opened, and at regular intervals on CIP/SIP duties where hot caustic and steam age elastomers. | |
| Other Core Parts | ||
| Coupling Rod | Connects the drive shaft to the rotor through the two hygienic joints. Replace if bent, cracked or worn at the joint seats. | |
| Drive Shaft / Plug-in Shaft | Carries the drive from the gear motor to the coupling rod and runs through the mechanical seal. Replace if worn at the seal or joint seat, or if bent. | |
| Suction Housing | The crevice-free, polished pump casing on the inlet side, with drainage at the lowest point. Replace if pitted, cracked or damaged on the seal or connection faces. | |
| Pressure Branch | The discharge end piece at the stator outlet. Replace if damaged, or when changing the connection type. | |
| Clamp / Hygienic Connection Seals | Seals and clamps for the hygienic process connections, matched to the fitting standard on your pump. Renew at shutdowns or when they show compression set or cracking. | |
| Heating Jacket | Jacket over the stator and pump casing on temperature-controlled BH pumps, used for products that must stay fluid. Replace if leaking or damaged. | |
| Gear Motor / Drive | The flanged gear motor that drives the block-design BH. We match a replacement to your kW, output speed and mounting. | |
| Complete Replacement Pump | When a rebuild doesn’t stack up, we quote a like-for-like NEMO BH from the model and serial number on your nameplate. | |
How we confirm the exact part: NEMO BH parts depend on pump size, rotor/stator geometry, stator elastomer, seal arrangement and process connections. Your nameplate carries the model (e.g. NM045 BH) and the serial number that identifies the original build. Tick the items above and add a nameplate photo, and we’ll confirm the correct part for your exact pump.
Models
Spare parts are available for every NEMO BH size in the current NETZSCH range, and the number after NM on your nameplate (e.g. NM045 BH) is the pump size.

Troubleshooting
Stator wears quickly or output falls away
Likely cause: dry running at start-up or between batches, abrasive solids, running faster than the product allows, or a worn rotor. Action: never run the pump dry (fit dry-run protection), check the speed suits the product, and replace the rotor and stator together if both are worn.
Stator swollen, hardened or cracked
Likely cause: the elastomer is not compatible with the product, fats and oils, or the CIP/SIP chemicals and temperatures. A swollen stator grips the rotor and raises torque. Action: tell us the product, CIP chemicals and temperatures and we’ll check the elastomer choice before supplying a replacement stator.
Pump hard to start or trips after CIP or a standstill
Likely cause: a swollen or new tight stator, or product that has set in the pump. Action: flush the pump after production, check the stator for swelling, and turn the drive by hand with the power isolated before restarting.
Knocking or vibration at the pump end
Likely cause: worn hygienic joint parts or coupling rod, or worn gear motor bearings. Action: strip and inspect the joints and coupling rod; replace the joint wear parts as a set and check the drive bearings.
Leaking at the mechanical seal
Likely cause: dry running, product crystallising or sticking on the seal faces, thermal shock during CIP/SIP, or perished O-rings. Action: replace the mechanical seal and its O-rings; for sugary, sticky or critical products ask us about a double-acting seal.
Pressure spikes, burst hoses or a damaged stator
Likely cause: a closed discharge valve, blocked filter or blocked line. A progressive cavity pump keeps building pressure until something gives. Action: never run against a closed valve; fit a pressure switch or bypass, and inspect the stator, joints and seal after any over-pressure event.
Product residue after cleaning
Likely cause: worn or scored rotor, damaged gaskets leaving crevices, or CIP flow too low. Action: renew the gasket and O-ring set, inspect the rotor surface, and check CIP flow and the use of any CIP ports.
