NETZSCH NEMO BH MINI Pumps
Spare Parts for NEMO BH Mini Hygienic Dosing Pumps
Product Summary
Genuine and compatible spare parts for the NETZSCH NEMO® BH Mini, the smallest hygienic progressive cavity pump in the NEMO range, used across Australia for accurate low-flow dosing of flavours, colours, additives, cosmetics and pharmaceutical liquids. All four sizes (NM003 to NM011) share the same hygienic build with a dead-space-free flexible rod in place of conventional joints, so tick what you need and we’ll match the exact parts to your nameplate (e.g. NM008 BH).
Spare Parts List
✓ Tick the parts you need. BH Mini parts are small and size-specific, so your nameplate model and serial number are all we need to get them right. Not sure which items? Add a photo of the nameplate and we’ll work out the parts for you.
| Select | Wear / Service Item | Function & when to replace |
|---|---|---|
| Common Service Kits | ||
| Stator | The elastomer sleeve the rotor turns in, in an FDA-compliant compound chosen to suit your product and cleaning chemicals. Replace when dosing accuracy drifts, after dry running, or if the elastomer has swollen or torn. | |
| Rotor | The stainless steel helical rotor. Replace it with the stator if it is worn or scored, as even light wear shows up as slip and lost dosing accuracy at these small sizes. | |
| Flexible Rod | The dead-space-free flexible rod that takes the place of joints and a coupling rod, flexing to follow the rotor’s eccentric motion. It is wear-free in normal service; replace it if kinked, cracked or damaged by a seizure or over-pressure event. | |
| Mechanical Seal | The hygienic mechanical seal on the drive shaft. Replace at the first sign of leakage, or after dry running or crystallised product on the faces. | |
| Gasket & O-Ring Set | Casing, seal and connection O-rings and gaskets in FDA-compliant elastomer. Renew whenever the pump is opened and at regular intervals on CIP/SIP duties. | |
| Other Core Parts | ||
| Drive Shaft | Carries the drive to the flexible rod and runs through the mechanical seal. Replace if worn at the seal seat or bent. | |
| Bearings / Bearing Block Parts | Bearings and shaft seals in the bearing block that carries the drive shaft. Replace if noisy, running hot or showing play. | |
| Suction Housing | The crevice-free pump casing on the inlet side. Replace if pitted, cracked or damaged on the seal or connection faces. | |
| Pressure Branch | The discharge end piece at the stator outlet. Replace if damaged, or when changing the connection type. | |
| Clamp / Hygienic Connection Seals | Seals and clamps for the hygienic process connections, matched to the fitting standard on your pump. Renew at shutdowns or when they show compression set. | |
| Drive Motor / Gear Motor | The motor or gear motor driving the pump, typically speed-controlled for dosing. We match a replacement to your kW, speed and mounting. | |
| Complete Replacement Pump | When a rebuild doesn’t stack up, we quote a like-for-like NEMO BH Mini from the model and serial number on your nameplate. | |
How we confirm the exact part: BH Mini parts depend on pump size, rotor/stator geometry, stator elastomer, seal type and drive arrangement. Your nameplate carries the model (e.g. NM008 BH) and the serial number that identifies the original build. Tick the items above and add a nameplate photo, and we’ll confirm the correct part for your exact pump.
Models
Spare parts are available for all four NEMO BH Mini sizes, including the BH Mini Plus with directly flanged drive.

Troubleshooting
Dosing rate drifts or reads low
Likely cause: slip from a worn rotor and stator, air drawn in on the suction side, or a change in product viscosity or back-pressure. Action: check suction connections and seals for air leaks, confirm back-pressure is steady, recalibrate, and replace the rotor and stator together if worn.
No flow after start-up
Likely cause: the pump has run dry and damaged the stator, the suction is blocked or air-locked, or a valve is shut. Action: check valves and the suction line, prime the pump, and inspect the stator for heat damage. Never run a BH Mini dry.
Stator swollen or hardened
Likely cause: the elastomer is not compatible with the product, solvents or the CIP/SIP chemicals and temperatures. Action: tell us the product and cleaning regime and we’ll check the elastomer choice before supplying a replacement stator.
Leaking at the mechanical seal
Likely cause: dry running, crystallising or sticky product on the seal faces, or perished O-rings. Action: replace the mechanical seal and its O-rings, and flush the pump after sticky or crystallising products.
Motor stalls or trips
Likely cause: a blocked dosing nozzle, closed valve or blocked line causing over-pressure, a swollen stator, or product set in the pump. Action: clear the discharge line, never run against a closed valve, fit a pressure switch, and check the stator and flexible rod after any over-pressure event.
Knocking or vibration
Likely cause: worn drive bearings, or a flexible rod damaged in a seizure. Action: inspect the bearings and flexible rod, replace as needed, and find the cause of any seizure before restarting.
