Southern Cross Everflow Submersible Pumps
Spare Parts for Southern Cross Everflow Submersible Borehole Pumps
Product Summary
Genuine OEM spare parts for the Southern Cross Everflow deep well submersible pump, a high-efficiency multistage borehole turbine designed and made in Australia for irrigation, stock and community water supply, mining and dewatering. Tick the parts you need and we’ll match them to the model and serial number on your nameplate.
Spare Parts List
✓ Tick the parts you need. Everflow parts are matched to the pump size, number of stages, impeller trim and materials, plus the motor fitted, so the model/size and serial number on your nameplate are all we need to get them right. Not sure which items? Add a photo of the nameplate and we’ll work it out for you.
| Select | Wear / Service Item | Function & when to replace |
|---|---|---|
| Common Service Kits | ||
| Impeller | The balanced impeller in each stage, trimmed at the factory to hit your duty point. Replace when sand or wear has cut the flow or head, or if it is cracked or out of balance. | |
| Shaft Support Bearings | The bearings in each bowl that keep the pump shaft centred. Replace when worn, as slack bearings let the impellers rub and cause vibration. | |
| Pump Bowl (diffuser) | The stage casing with diffuser vanes that turns the impeller’s flow upward into the next stage. Replace if eroded by sand or corroded, matched to your material option. | |
| Inlet Strainer | Screens the water entering the pump between the bowls and the motor. Replace if holed, corroded or clogged, choosing galvanised mild steel or stainless to suit the water quality. | |
| Wear & Consumable Parts | ||
| Impeller Locking Collets | The tapered collets that lock each impeller to the shaft. Fit new ones whenever impellers are removed, and confirmed against your pump at quote. | |
| Sand Cap | Helps keep sand out of the bearing area of the bowl assembly. Replace if worn or damaged during an overhaul. | |
| Motor Coupling | Joins the pump shaft to the submersible motor shaft. Replace if the splines are worn or the pump has been running rough. | |
| Joint Seals & Fasteners | The seals, bolts and studs that hold the bowl stack together. Renew when the pump is dismantled, matched to your material option to avoid corrosion. | |
| Other Core Parts | ||
| Pump Shaft | Carries the impellers through the bowl stack. Replace if bent, worn at the bearings or damaged at the collet seats. | |
| Discharge Case | The top casing that connects the bowl stack to the rising main. Replace if the threads or flange are damaged or the casting is eroded. | |
| Motor Adaptor (suction case) | Bolts the pump end to the NEMA standard flanged motor and holds the inlet strainer. Replace if cracked, corroded or worn at the motor spigot. | |
| Submersible Electric Motor | 6 inch encapsulated or 8–14 inch rewindable motors from Pentair Southern Cross. We can quote a new motor or arrange repair, matched to the motor nameplate. | |
| Complete Pump End (like-for-like) | When a rebuild doesn’t stack up, we quote a like-for-like Everflow pump end from the model and serial number on your nameplate. | |
How we confirm the exact part: Southern Cross Everflow submersible parts depend on the pump size, number of stages, impeller trim, material option and the motor fitted. No public parts list exists for this range, so parts are named here by function; your nameplate gives the model/size (e.g. Everflow 200) and the serial number, which together pin down the build. Tick the items above and add a nameplate photo, and we’ll confirm the correct parts for your exact pump.
Models
The pump size is on the nameplate (and your original pump paperwork); the sizes below are those labelled on the Southern Cross Everflow submersible performance chart. Select yours, or choose “Not sure”.

From the Southern Cross Everflow deep well submersible pumps technical datasheet (EFS-IF-0213, Feb 2014). Duty for each size depends on stages and impeller trim; we confirm from your nameplate.
Troubleshooting
Pump will not start
Likely cause: blown fuses, a supply or starter fault, or a fault in the motor or drop cable. Action: check the supply, fuses and starter, then have the motor and cable insulation tested before pulling the pump.
Pump runs but delivers no water
Likely cause: three-phase motor running in reverse, water level drawn down below the pump, or a broken shaft or motor coupling. Action: swap two phases to correct rotation, check the standing and pumping water level, and inspect the shaft and motor coupling.
Flow lower than it used to be
Likely cause: a blocked inlet strainer, leaks in the rising main, a partly closed valve, or worn impellers and bowls. Action: clear the strainer, check the column for leaks, open the valve fully, and renew worn impellers and bowls.
Motor draws too much power or trips
Likely cause: impellers rubbing, a motor fault, or the pump working well away from its duty point. Action: check the water level and total lift against the duty, and have the motor and pump end inspected.
Rapid wear of impellers and bearings
Likely cause: sand or grit in the bore water, or corrosive water attacking the materials. Action: improve bore screening and development, and consider stainless or bronze material options at rebuild.
Vibration or noise
Likely cause: worn shaft support bearings, a motor out of balance, or the pump drawing air as the water level drops. Action: renew worn bearings, have the motor overhauled, and set the pump deeper or reduce the flow.
