Product Summary

Genuine OEM spare parts for the Verderflex Ds500 and Ds500+, the compact cartridge peristaltic pump used for chemical metering, dosing and transfer in water and wastewater treatment, mining reagent and general industrial duties at up to 7 bar. The pump body is factory sealed with no user-serviceable parts, so the cartridge and its tube connection parts are what you keep on the shelf; tick what you need and we’ll match it to the model and serial number on your rear label.

Type: Cartridge peristaltic dosing pump Models: Ds500 (manual) · Ds500+ (4–20mA / contact) Flow: 0.1–500 ml/min · up to 7 bar(g) Cartridge: Verderprene tube · PP ports · EPDM seals

Spare Parts List

✓ Tick the parts you need. Verderflex Ds500 parts are matched to the pump model (Ds500 or Ds500+) and its build, so the model and serial number on the rear label are all we need to get them right. Not sure which items? Add a photo of the rear label and we’ll work it out for you.

SelectWear / Service ItemFunction & when to replace
Common Service Kits
Ds500 CartridgeThe snap-in pumphead that holds the tube, so the fluid never touches the pump. It is the main wear item: swap it on a set schedule, or straight away after a tube burst (error 10002). Store spares boxed and use within 2 years.
Tube Connection KitCouples your suction and discharge tubing to the M24 cartridge ports (tube ID up to 10 mm). Two are supplied with a new pump; renew them if a port weeps or when you change tubing size.
Port O-RingsSeals each tube fitting at the cartridge port. Fit new O-rings whenever the connections are broken for a cartridge change, or if a port shows a leak.
Wear & Consumable Parts
Port Sealing NutThe threaded nut that pulls the tube connection onto the cartridge port. Replace if the thread is damaged or the nut is cracked from over-tightening.
Clamp RingGrips the tube inside the sealing nut so it can’t pull off under pressure. Replace if it no longer bites on the tube or is distorted.
Tube FittingThe insert that the tube is pushed over before the nut is tightened. Replace if cracked, chemically attacked, or when moving to a different tube size.
Breather Hose Tail FittingFits the breather point so any fluid released by a tube burst can be piped away and caught. Keep it clear and fitted; replace if damaged or blocked.
Screen GuardThe clear cover over the touch-screen HMI. Replace if it is cracked, crazed by chemical splash or no longer seals over the screen.
Other Core Parts
USB Port CoverCloses the rear USB port used for firmware updates and log downloads. It must be in place to keep the IP66 rating, so replace it if lost or split.
Complete Ds500 PumpThe pump body is factory sealed and only repaired by Verder. If a unit has failed (for example a motor fault that a power cycle and new cartridge won’t clear), we quote a like-for-like Ds500 from your rear label.
Complete Ds500+ PumpThe Ds500+ adds the M12 external control input and output for 4–20mA speed control, pulse dosing and alarm outputs. We quote a like-for-like unit from the model and serial number on the rear label.

How we confirm the exact part: Verderflex Ds500 parts depend on the model (Ds500 or Ds500+) and its build. The Verderflex operating manual has no public parts list, so the items above are named by function as described in the manual. The rear label gives the product designation and year of manufacture plus the serial number; tick the items above and add a photo of the label, and we’ll confirm the correct part numbers for your pump.

Models

The model (Ds500 or Ds500+) and the year of manufacture are printed on the rear label beside the serial number; the Ds500+ also has M12 control sockets on the front.

Troubleshooting

Low flow or low discharge pressure

Likely cause: back pressure above the pump’s limits, a blocked line, or a pump not yet calibrated for the duty. Action: clear the line, bring discharge pressure back within limits (larger pipework helps) and run the flow calibration.

Cartridges failing early

Likely cause: excessive back pressure forcing backflow, or fluid that is too hot for the tube. Action: lower the discharge pressure or upsize the pipework, keep the fluid within 70°C, then fit a new cartridge.

Dosed volume is inaccurate

Likely cause: the pump has not been calibrated to the application. Action: run the flow calibration routine, using a larger calibration volume for better accuracy.

Excessive noise or pulsation

Likely cause: discharge pressure too high, or undersized pipework with tight bends. Action: reduce the discharge pressure, check pipe sizes and remove small-radius bends.

Pump won’t start under remote control

Likely cause: a cartridge (pump head) fault while in 4–20mA or contact mode. Action: check the cartridge is seated and locked, fit a new one if the tube has burst, and set an alarm output to flag the fault.

Error 12016 motor failure

Likely cause: the motor is struggling against the cartridge, often after a long run. Action: power cycle, test with the cartridge removed and refitted, and fit a new cartridge if the fault returns.
