Verderflex Dura 45-60 Pumps
Spare Parts for Verderflex Dura 45, 55 and 60 Peristaltic Hose Pumps
Product Summary
Genuine OEM spare parts for the Verderflex Dura 45, 55 and 60 peristaltic hose pumps, the large-bore end of the Dura range used across Australia for thickener underflow, tailings, lime slurry, sludge and chemical dosing. Every pump shares the same build (a reinforced hose squeezed by shimmed rotor shoes in a lubricant-filled housing, with clamp rings and port flanges at each end), so tick what you need and we’ll match the parts to your nameplate, such as Dura 55.
Spare Parts List
✓ Tick the parts you need. Verderflex Dura parts are matched to the pump size (45, 55 or 55HF/60), the hose material and the port flange and insert fitted, so the model and serial number on your nameplate are all we need to get them right. Not sure which items? Add a photo of the nameplate and we’ll work it out for you.
| Select | Wear / Service Item | Function & when to replace |
|---|---|---|
| Common Service Kits | ||
| Hose | The reinforced pumping hose and the main consumable. Offered in NR, NBR, NBR-F, CSM (Hypalon®) and EPDM to suit the product; Dura 55HF/60 lists NR and EPDM only. Change it when flow falls about 25% below nominal, or if it bursts. | |
| Lubricant (Verderlube® / VerderSil®) | Fills the pump housing to cool and lubricate the hose and shoes. Verderflex calls for a fresh fill at every hose change or every six months, filled to just below the inspection window. | |
| Clamp Ring – Flange Sealing Kit (ref 14) | Clamps each hose end to the port flange and seals the housing. The maintenance schedule pairs a new flange sealing kit with every hose change. | |
| Shims (ref 6) | Set under the rotor shoes to give the correct hose compression for the hose material and discharge pressure. Check the shim count at each hose change; too many shims overheat the hose. | |
| Front Cover O-ring (ref 4) | Seals the front cover to the pump housing so the lubricant stays in. Fit a new one whenever the cover comes off for a hose change or inspection. | |
| Wear & Consumable Parts | ||
| Rotor Shoe (ref 7) | The shoes on the rotor that squeeze the hose. Inspect them at every hose change and at least yearly; worn or damaged shoe faces cut hose life short. | |
| Inspection Window Gasket (ref 2) | Seals the clear window in the front cover. Renew if it weeps lubricant or once the window has been removed. | |
| Inspection Window (ref 1) | Lets you check the lubricant level and hose condition without opening the pump. Replace if cracked or clouded; an ATEX-rated assembly is listed separately. | |
| Flange Insert (ref 15.1) | The wetted insert inside the port flange that the product flows through. Check it at every hose change and renew it if worn or attacked by the product. | |
| Bearing Seal Kit (refs 9.1 / 9.2) | Seals the drive side of the pump housing against lubricant and product. Renew if a leak appears at the back of the housing or when the bearings are serviced. | |
| Seal Kit and Bearing (ref 9.3) | Bearing plus seals for the Dura 55 family drive. Verderflex suggests renewing bearing and seals after 30,000 running hours, or sooner if damage or a leak is found. | |
| Other Core Parts | ||
| Rotor (ref 8) | Carries the two shoes round the housing. Replace if cracked, worn at the shoe seats or damaged after a hose burst. | |
| Rotor Mounting Bush (ref 5) | The keyless clamping bush that locks the rotor to the drive shaft. Replace if it slips or no longer holds its torque. | |
| Bearing Housing (ref 9) | The Dura 45 bearing housing between the gearbox and pump casing. Replace as an assembly if the bearings are rough or the shaft has play. | |
| Drive Shaft Assembly (ref 9.4) | Shaft, bearing and seals for the Dura 55 family, listed by gearbox frame. Fit when the shaft is worn or damaged under the seals. | |
| Standard Flange (ref 15) | The port flanges that hold the hose ends and connect the pipework, in stainless steel with or without a PP, PVDF or SS insert. Hygienic DIN 11851 and Tri-Clamp versions are also listed. | |
| Front Cover (ref 3) | Closes the pump housing and carries the inspection window. Replace if cracked or distorted; a full cover assembly is also listed. | |
How we confirm the exact part: Verderflex Dura 45, 55 and 60 parts depend on the pump size, the hose material, the port flange and insert material, the gearbox fitted and whether the pump is ATEX-rated. The refs and part numbers shown are as printed in the Verderflex Dura 45, 55 and 60 spare parts list; your nameplate gives the pump type (e.g. Dura 55), serial number and year of manufacture. Tick the items above and add a nameplate photo, and we’ll confirm the correct parts for your pump.
Models
The pump type is the first field on the Verderflex nameplate, followed by the serial number and year of manufacture. The Dura 60 is the current name for the Dura 55HF and shares its parts.

Part numbers as printed in the Verderflex Dura 45, 55 and 60 spare parts list (v2.7, Aug 2024); speeds from the Dura 45 and Dura 55 operating manuals (max. delivery pressure 16 bar). The list prints the same number for the Dura 45 shims and rotor mounting bush, so we confirm the Dura 45 shim pack with Verderflex. Dura 60 hoses are interchangeable with Dura 55HF hoses.
Troubleshooting
Low flow or pressure
Likely cause: a failed hose, a closed suction or discharge valve, a long or narrow suction line, high viscosity, or the wrong shim setting. Action: open the valves, check the suction pipework and shim count, and fit a new hose if it has failed.
Pump running abnormally hot
Likely cause: wrong lubricant or low lubricant level, product temperature too high, too many shims, or the pump running too fast. Action: top up or change to Verderflex lubricant, remove excess shims and bring the speed down.
Short hose life
Likely cause: worn or damaged rotor shoes, housing or flange inserts, over-shimming, or speed above the limit for the discharge pressure. Action: inspect the shoes and inserts at each hose change, set the shims to the manual’s table and keep within the rated speed.
Pump and pipework vibrating
Likely cause: long suction or discharge lines, undersized pipework, heavy or viscous product, unsecured lines or low lubricant. Action: shorten and enlarge the lines where possible, secure them, fit a pulsation damper and check the lubricant level.
Hose pulled into the pump housing
Likely cause: inlet pressure too high, a blocked or badly fitted hose, or large particles in the product. Action: reduce the inlet pressure, clear and refit the hose with new clamp rings, and screen out large solids on the suction side.
Lubricant leaking from the housing
Likely cause: a worn front cover O-ring, inspection window gasket or bearing seal, or a burst hose. Action: renew the leaking seal or gasket and check the hose; refill with fresh lubricant afterwards.
