Verderflex Dura 5-35 Pumps
Spare Parts for Verderflex Dura 5, 7, 10, 15, 25 and 35 Peristaltic Hose Pumps
Product Summary
Genuine OEM spare parts for the Verderflex Dura 5-35 peristaltic hose pumps, the compact single-rotor range used across Australia for lime, polymer and chemical dosing, sludge, mining reagents and food and beverage transfer. Every size from Dura 5 to Dura 35 shares the same build (hose, twin-lobe rotor, quick-fit tapered port flanges with clamp rings and a lubricant-filled housing), so tick what you need and we’ll match the parts to your nameplate, such as Dura 15.
Spare Parts List
✓ Tick the parts you need. Verderflex Dura parts are matched to the pump size, rotor (standard or high pressure), port connection and hose material, so the model and serial number on your nameplate are all we need to get them right. Not sure which items? Add a photo of the nameplate and we’ll work it out for you.
| Select | Wear / Service Item | Function & when to replace |
|---|---|---|
| Common Service Kits | ||
| Hose (ref 11) | The pumping element and main consumable. Options per the Verderflex list: NR, NBR, NBR-F food grade, Hypalon (CSM), EPDM and Verderprene. Change it when flow has dropped about 25% or the hose has burst. | |
| Clamp Ring – Flange Sealing Kit (ref 7) | Supplied by Verderflex as the flange sealing kit, the clamp rings seal the hose ends in the tapered port flanges. Discard the old rings and fit new ones at every hose change (not used on the Dura 25). | |
| Pump Lubricant (Verderlube / VerderSil) | Fills the pump housing to cool and lubricate the hose for longer hose life. Choose the grade that suits the pumped liquid and renew it at every hose change or at least every six months. | |
| Front Cover O-ring (ref 4) | Seals the front cover to the pump housing and keeps the lubricant in. Renew it if lubricant weeps from the cover joint or the ring is damaged when the cover is off. | |
| Wear & Consumable Parts | ||
| Shaft Seal Assembly (ref 6.1) | The seal set that stops lubricant escaping along the rotor shaft towards the gearbox. Fit a new one when a leak shows at the rear of the housing or during a bearing overhaul. | |
| Bearing and Seal Assembly (ref 6.2) | Sealed bearings plus shaft seals that carry the rotor shaft; no extra greasing needed. Verderflex calls for renewal after 30,000 running hours, or sooner if there is play, noise or a leak. | |
| Inspection Window (ref 1) | The clear window in the front cover used to check the lubricant level and hose position. Replace if cracked, crazed or stained so the level can no longer be read; also listed as a window and gasket assembly. | |
| Inspection Window Gasket (ref 2) | Seals the inspection window into the front cover. Renew it if lubricant leaks around the window or whenever the window is removed. | |
| Drain Plug Kit | The plug at the rear of the pump used to drain the lubricant before a hose change. Replace if the thread or seal is damaged and it will no longer seal. | |
| Hose Burst and Vent Kit | Accessory that detects a burst hose and vents the housing; a high level sensor assembly is also listed for the Dura 25 and 35. Fit new if the sensor is damaged or after a hose failure has contaminated it. | |
| Other Core Parts | ||
| Rotor Assembly (ref 5) | The twin-lobe rotor that squeezes the hose. The high pressure rotor raises the duty rating (see spec table). Replace if the lobe faces are worn or damaged, as rough surfaces shorten hose life. | |
| Shaft Assembly (ref 6) | The rotor shaft supplied complete with its seals and bearings. Fit it when the shaft itself is worn or damaged rather than renewing the bearings and seals alone. | |
| Port Flange (ref 8) | The quick-fit tapered flanges that clamp and seal the hose ends; supplied in pairs. Listed as standard stainless, split flange with PP or PVDF insert, DIN 11851 hygienic, and hose tail (Dura 10, 15). Replace if worn or damaged. | |
| Front Cover (ref 3) | Closes the front of the pump housing and carries the inspection window. Replace if cracked or distorted; also listed as a complete front cover assembly. | |
| Frames (ref 9) | The mounting frames that support the pump housing on the baseplate, in standard or low height. Replace if bent or corroded. | |
| Filler Tube (ref 10) | The breather and filler tube on top of the housing that relieves pressure and is used to top up lubricant: metal on Dura 5-15, polypropylene on Dura 25 and 35. Replace if blocked or damaged. | |
How we confirm the exact part: Verderflex Dura 5-35 parts depend on the pump size, the rotor (standard or high pressure), the port connection (standard, split, hygienic or hose tail), the hose material and whether the pump is ATEX rated. The refs and part numbers shown are as printed in the Verderflex Dura 05-35 spare parts list; your nameplate gives the model (e.g. Dura MK III 15), serial number and year of manufacture. Tick the items above and add a nameplate photo, and we’ll confirm the correct parts for your pump.
Models
The model is printed in the Model field of the Verderflex Dura nameplate, next to the serial number and year (YR). Dura 5 and 7 are MK IV pumps; Dura 10 to 35 are MK III.

Troubleshooting
Pump housing running hot
Likely cause: the wrong lubricant, too little lubricant in the housing, or product or ambient temperature above the pump’s limit. Action: top up or change to the correct Verderlube or VerderSil grade, and check the temperature against the hose and pump limits.
Little or no flow or pressure
Likely cause: a closed suction or discharge valve, a failed hose, or a blocked suction line. Action: open the valves and clear the suction; if the hose has failed, fit a new hose (ref 11) with new clamp rings (ref 7).
Output down with a long suction line or thick product
Likely cause: suction line too long or too small in bore, product viscosity too high, pump speed too high or the wrong rotor for the duty. Action: shorten and enlarge the suction line, slow the pump and have the pump selection and rotor checked.
Pump and pipework vibrating
Likely cause: long or undersized suction and discharge lines, heavy or viscous product, high speed, a faulty dampener or low lubricant. Action: shorten or enlarge the pipework, fit a pulsation damper, reduce speed and top up the lubricant to the correct level.
Hose pulled into the pump housing
Likely cause: inlet pressure too high, a blocked or wrongly fitted hose, or large particles in the product. Action: reduce the inlet pressure, check the hose is fitted and clamped correctly, and fit a strainer in the suction line.
Pump runs hot and shakes at speed
Likely cause: the pump is running faster than the duty needs. Action: bring the speed down to the minimum that meets the duty and have the pump selection checked if it still runs hot.
