Product Summary

Genuine OEM spare parts for the Verderflex Dura 65 peristaltic hose pump, the 65 mm twin-shoe, single-rotor pump used across Australia for thickener underflow, tailings and lime slurry in mining and for sludge, lime and chemical dosing in water and wastewater treatment. Every Dura 65 shares the same build (hose, rotor with two shimmed shoes, quarter-turn port flanges with clamp rings, a lubricant-filled housing and a greased gearbox adaptor/bearing carrier), so tick what you need and we’ll match the parts to your nameplate, such as Dura 65.

Type: Peristaltic hose pump, 65 mm hose Build: Twin rotor shoes · shim pack · 1/4-turn port flanges Up to 16 bar · 52 rpm max continuous at 0 bar Hoses: NR · NBR · NBRF · CSM · EPDM Housing lubricant: 25 litres

Spare Parts List

✓ Tick the parts you need. Verderflex Dura 65 parts are matched to the build (standard or ATEX), gearbox size, port flange type and hose material, so the pump type and serial number on your nameplate are all we need to get them right. Not sure which items? Add a photo of the nameplate and we’ll work it out for you.

Common Service Kits
Hose (ref 11)The 65 mm reinforced hose the rotor shoes squeeze; the main consumable. Options: NR (general abrasive), NBR (oils, fats), NBRF (food grade), CSM (Hypalon®, strong chemicals) and EPDM (acids, alkalis). Change at 25% flow loss or burst.
Pump Lubricant (Verderlube® / VerderSil®)Fills the pump housing to cool and lubricate the hose under the shoes. Drain and renew at every second hose change or 5000 running hours, whichever comes first, and check it suits the pumped liquid.
Rotor Shoe Set (ref 5)The two shoes on the rotor that compress the hose. Inspect at every hose change; worn or damaged shoe faces cause early hose failure. They can be changed through the inspection window.
Shims (ref 4)Packed under each rotor shoe to set hose compression for the discharge pressure, per the Dura 65 shimming chart. Too many shims overheats the pump; too few lets product slip back.
Clamp Ring – Flange Sealing Kit (ref 7.4)The clamp ring and O-ring that grip and seal the hose end inside each port flange. Verderflex calls for a new flange sealing kit with every hose change.
Wear & Consumable Parts
Front Cover O-ring (ref 2)Seals the front cover to the pump housing and keeps the lubricant in. Fit a new one if it is nicked, flattened or leaking when the cover comes off.
Inspection Window Gasket (ref 1)Seals the inspection window to the front cover. Renew if it weeps lubricant or is damaged when the window is removed to shim or change shoes.
Seal Kit (ref 6.3)The shaft sealing parts behind the rotor that stop lubricant reaching the bearings. Verderflex lists bearing and seal renewal at 30,000 running hours or as soon as a leak is found.
Bearing Seal Kit (ref 6.1)The seals that protect the bearings in the gearbox adaptor/bearing carrier. Fit with the bearings, or earlier if lubricant is seen leaking behind the housing.
Bearing Kit (ref 6.2)The sealed main bearings that carry the rotor. Check bearing play when the hose is changed and renew at 30,000 hours, or sooner if they run rough, noisy or hot.
Flange Insert (ref 7.1)The insert that lines the port flange and the hose bore, in PP, PVDF or stainless steel to suit the product. Replace if worn, cracked or chemically attacked.
Drive Coupling and O-Ring Set (ref 3)Connects the gearbox output to the rotor and seals it with an O-ring. Separate parts for 303/304/305 and 306 gearboxes; replace if the splines or bore are worn.
Other Core Parts
Rotor Assembly (ref 6)The single rotor that carries both shoes and drives them round the hose. Replace if cracked or damaged; a rotor removal jig is available on request for the job.
Port Flange Assembly (ref 7, 7.2, 7.3)The quarter-turn stainless steel port flanges: solid, without insert, or with PP, PVDF or SS insert, plus hygienic DIN11851 and DIN32676 (Tri-clamp®) versions. Replace if damaged or changing connection.
Front Cover Assembly (refs 1, 2, 2.1, 2.2)Closes the pump housing and carries the inspection window, filler port and service cover, each available separately. A special filler port kit applies to pumps fitted with a hose burst and vent kit.
Gearbox Adaptor / Bearing Carrier (ref 8)Holds the bearings and joins the gearbox to the pump housing; it has a grease nipple needing 5 g of grease every six months. Replace if the bearing bores are worn or the casting is damaged.
Mounting Frame Assembly (ref 9) & Drain AssemblyThe frames that support the pump housing, listed in two styles, plus the drain valve assembly used to empty the lubricant. Replace if bent, corroded or leaking.
Hose Burst Kit & Sensors (accessories)Verderflex accessories for the Dura 65: hose burst kit (standard or ATEX), high/low level sensor and revolution sensor. Fit to stop the pump quickly if a hose fails.

How we confirm the exact part: Verderflex Dura 65 parts depend on the build (standard or ATEX), the gearbox size (303/304/305 or 306), the port flange and insert material and the hose material fitted. The refs and part numbers shown are as printed in the Verderflex Dura 65 spare parts list; your nameplate gives the pump type (e.g. Dura 65), serial number and year of manufacture, and Verderflex requires the serial number for any ATEX parts. Tick the items above and add a nameplate photo, and we’ll confirm the correct parts for your pump.

Models

The pump type and serial number are on the nameplate on the pump housing (e.g. Dura 65); the gearbox size is on the geared motor. The builds below are those the Verderflex Dura 65 parts list separates.

Part numbers as printed in the Verderflex Dura 65 Spare Parts List (v1.0, 05/2021). From the Dura 65 manual: max delivery pressure 16 bar; max continuous speed 52 rpm at 0 bar, 46 rpm at 6 bar, 36 rpm at 10 bar and 18 rpm at 16 bar; pumped liquid under 100 °C (under 40 °C ATEX); 25 litres of housing lubricant; each shim 0.5 mm. ATEX parts are only supplied for factory ATEX-rated pumps.

Troubleshooting

Pump housing running hot

Likely cause: wrong or too little lubricant, too many shims under the shoes, or product temperature above the pump’s limit. Action: top up or change to the correct Verderflex lubricant, remove excess shims per the shimming chart, and check the product temperature.

Low flow or pressure

Likely cause: a closed suction or discharge valve, a failed hose, or incorrect shoe shimming for the duty. Action: open the valves, change the hose (ref 11) with a new flange sealing kit, and re-shim the rotor shoes for the discharge pressure.

Hot running and low flow together

Likely cause: a blocked suction line, poor suction conditions or no product reaching the pump. Action: clear blockages in pipework and valves and keep the suction line as short and large in bore as practical.

Pump and pipework vibrating

Likely cause: long or undersized lines, a heavy or viscous product, a faulty dampener or too little lubricant in the casing. Action: shorten or enlarge the pipework, fit a pulsation dampener and top up the lubricant.

Hose pulled into the pump housing

Likely cause: inlet pressure too high, a blocked or incorrectly fitted hose, or large particles in the product. Action: reduce the inlet pressure, refit or clear the hose, and fit a strainer in the suction line without starving the pump.

Pump running hot and vibrating

Likely cause: pump speed too high for the duty. Action: reduce the speed to the minimum that meets the duty and have the pump selection checked against the Dura 65 speed limits.
