Product Summary

Genuine OEM spare parts for the Verderflex Dura 80 and Dura 100 large-bore peristaltic hose pumps, used across Australia for thickener underflow, tailings, lime slurry and sludge transfer in mining, water and wastewater treatment. The Dura 80 runs a single hose squeezed by shimmed rotor shoes in a lubricant-filled housing, so tick what you need and we’ll match the hose, shoes, flanges and seals to your nameplate, such as Dura 80.

Type: Peristaltic hose pump, shoe design Build: Rotor shoes · shims · lubricant-filled housing Hose: NR, NBR, NBRF, Hypalon, EPDM Fill: 35 litres Verderlube or VerderSil (Dura 80)

Spare Parts List

✓ Tick the parts you need. Verderflex Dura parts are matched to the pump model, build (standard or ATEX), port flange type, rotor bore and hose material, so the model and serial number on your nameplate are all we need to get them right. Not sure which items? Add a photo of the nameplate and we’ll work it out for you.

SelectWear / Service ItemFunction & when to replace
Common Service Kits
Hose (Dura 80 hose options)The single pumping hose and the main consumable. Verderflex lists NR (white), NBR (yellow), food-grade NBRF (yellow + white), Hypalon (green) and EPDM (red). Change it when flow drops away or at the first sign of a burst.
Lubricant (Verderlube / VerderSil)Fills the pump housing to cool and lubricate the hose under the shoes; the Dura 80 takes 35 litres. Use only the grade suited to your hose and renew it with every hose change or if it is contaminated.
Rotor Shoe Kit (item 4)The pressing shoes on the rotor that squeeze the hose shut. Replace if the shoe faces are worn, scored or chipped, as a damaged shoe shortens hose life quickly.
Shims, pack of 18 (item 3)Fitted under the rotor shoes to set how hard the hose is compressed for your discharge pressure. Re-check the shim count at every hose or shoe change; too many shims make the pump run hot.
Clamp Ring (item 6.4)Grips and seals the hose end inside the port flange. Fit new clamp rings with each new hose so the hose cannot be pulled into the housing.
Wear & Consumable Parts
Inspection Window Gasket (item 1)Seals the inspection window to the front cover and keeps lubricant in. Renew whenever the window is removed or if lubricant weeps around it.
Front Cover O-ring (item 2)Seals the front cover to the pump housing. Fit a new one every time the cover comes off for a shoe or rotor job.
Front Cover Inspection Window & Gasket Assembly (item 1)The clear window in the front cover for checking the lubricant and hose. Replace if cracked, crazed or cloudy enough that the lubricant level can no longer be seen.
Flange Insert, pair (item 6.1)The wetted insert that the hose end fits over inside the port flange. Replace if eroded or corroded by the product, choosing PP, PVDF or stainless to suit.
Filler Port Kit (item 2.1)The port on the front cover used to fill the housing with lubricant. Replace if the cap or seal is damaged; a different kit applies where a hose burst and vent kit is fitted.
Service Cover Kit (item 2.2)The removable service cover on the front cover. Replace if it is damaged or no longer seals.
Drain Assembly (item 9)Lets the lubricant be drained from the housing before a hose change. Replace if the valve leaks or will not open or close cleanly.
Other Core Parts
Rotor Assembly (item 5)Carries the rotor shoes and drives them round the hose, mounted on the gearbox shaft with a Taperlock bush. Ordered by bush bore (60, 75, 80 or 90 mm); replace if cracked or worn at the shoe mounts.
Standard Port Flange, pair (item 6)Stainless flanges that clamp the hose ends to the housing and connect the pipework, supplied solid, bare or with a PP, PVDF or SS insert. Replace if the flange is cracked, corroded or damaged.
Hygienic Port Flange, pair (items 6.2, 6.3)Sanitary connection flanges for food and beverage duties, in DIN 11851 or DIN 32676 (Tri-clamp) form. Replace if the sealing face is damaged.
Front Cover Assembly (item 2)The large front cover that closes the pump housing and carries the window, filler and service ports. Replace if cracked or distorted so it no longer seals.
Gearbox Adaptor (item 7)Mounts the gearbox to the back of the pump housing. Matched to the gearbox size fitted (305 or 306); replace if the spigot or bolt holes are worn or damaged.
Mounting Frame Assembly (item 8)The base frame the pump and drive sit on, in standard form or with the VF80 footprint to suit an existing VF80 base. Replace if corroded or damaged.

How we confirm the exact part: Verderflex Dura 80 parts depend on the build (standard or ATEX), the port flange and insert material, the rotor bush bore, the gearbox fitted and the hose material. Item and part numbers shown are as printed in the Verderflex Dura 80 spare parts list; your nameplate gives the model (e.g. Dura 80) and the serial number, which together pin down the build. Tick the items above and add a nameplate photo, and we’ll confirm the correct parts for your exact pump.

Models

The model and serial number are on the nameplate fixed to the pump; Verderflex asks for both when ordering spares. Both sizes in this series are listed below.

Part numbers as printed in the Verderflex Dura 80 spare parts list (Version 01, Dec 2022). Front cover, inspection window and filler port parts differ for ATEX builds and pumps fitted with a hose burst kit. No Verderflex parts document for the Dura 100 is held, so Dura 100 parts are confirmed from the nameplate at quote.

Troubleshooting

Pump running hot

Likely cause: wrong grade or low level of lubricant, product temperature above the pump’s limit, or too many shims under the rotor shoes. Action: top up or change to the correct Verderflex lubricant, check the product temperature against the limits, and remove any excess shims.

Low flow or pressure

Likely cause: a closed suction or discharge valve, a blocked or restrictive suction line, or a failed hose. Action: open the valves and clear the pipework; if the hose has burst or worn through, fit a new hose and fresh lubricant.

Output low even with a good hose

Likely cause: incorrect shoe shimming, or a duty the pump was not sized for (long or narrow suction line, high viscosity, high speed). Action: check the shim count for your discharge pressure and have the pump selection reviewed against the actual duty.

Pump and pipework vibrating

Likely cause: high pump speed, long suction or discharge lines, undersized pipework, a heavy or viscous product, or a faulty pulsation dampener. Action: reduce speed, shorten or enlarge the lines where possible, fit or service a dampener, and secure the pipework.

Hose pulled into the pump housing

Likely cause: inlet pressure too high, a blocked or wrongly fitted hose, or large particles in the product. Action: reduce the inlet pressure, clear and correctly refit the hose with new clamp rings, and screen out large solids without starving the suction.

Low lubricant in the housing

Likely cause: lubricant not topped up after a hose change, or lost through a leaking gasket, O-ring or drain. Action: fill to the level shown on the inspection window and renew the window gasket, front cover O-ring or drain assembly if they leak.
