Verderflex VF 100-125 Pumps
Spare Parts for Verderflex VF 100 and VF 125 Peristaltic Hose Pumps
Product Summary
Genuine OEM spare parts for the Verderflex VF 100 and VF 125, the largest hose pumps in the VF range, used across Australia for thickener underflow, tailings and lime slurry in mining and for sludge and lime duties in water and wastewater treatment. Both sizes share the same build (a single hose in a lubricant-filled housing, a rotor with a pair of shimmed shoes, and bolted port flanges with inserts), so tick what you need and we’ll match the parts to your nameplate, such as VF 100.
Spare Parts List
✓ Tick the parts you need. Verderflex VF parts are matched to the pump size, hose material, port flange insert material and connection standard, so the pump type and serial number on your nameplate are all we need to get them right. Not sure which items? Add a photo of the nameplate and we’ll work it out for you.
| Select | Wear / Service Item | Function & when to replace |
|---|---|---|
| Common Service Kits | ||
| Hose (ref 13) | The hose is the pumping element and main consumable. Verderflex lists NR (white code), NBR (yellow), NBR-F food grade (yellow + white stripe, VF 100 only), Hypalon®/CSM (green) and EPDM (red). Change it when flow is down about 25% or it bursts. | |
| Pump Lubricant (Verderlube® / VerderSil®) | Lubricates and cools the shoes running on the hose inside the housing. Verderflex calls for fresh lubricant at every hose change or six-monthly, filled to the middle level mark on the front cover. | |
| Flange Sealing Kit (ref 9.4) | The seals for both port flanges. Verderflex pairs this kit with every hose change, so order it alongside the new hose. | |
| Rotor Shoes Assembly (ref 7.1) | Both rotor shoes supplied with a pack of shims. The shoes squeeze the hose shut as the rotor turns; worn or damaged shoe faces shorten hose life, so check them annually and at every hose change. | |
| Shims (ref 6) | Fitted under the shoes to set how hard the hose is squeezed. Too few lets product slip back; too many overheats the pump and wears the hose. Shim count follows the pump datasheet. | |
| Wear & Consumable Parts | ||
| Rotor Shoes (ref 7) | The pair of shoes on its own, for when you already hold shims. Replace if the running faces are worn, scored or damaged. | |
| Port Flange Insert (ref 9.1) | The insert that the hose end fits over at each port and the only metal or plastic part the product touches. Choose the material to suit the product and temperature; replace if corroded or worn. | |
| Port Flange Outer O-Rings (ref 9.2) | Seal the port flange assemblies to the pump housing. Renew if they leak lubricant or are flattened or damaged when the flanges come off. | |
| Front Cover O-Ring (ref 4) | Seals the front cover to the housing and keeps the lubricant in. Fit a new one whenever the cover is removed or if lubricant weeps from the joint. | |
| Inspection Window O-Ring (ref 2) | Seals the clear inspection window used to check the lubricant level. Renew if the window joint leaks or the ring has hardened. | |
| Drive Gasket (ref 10) | Seals between the gearmotor unit and the pump housing. Replace if lubricant leaks at the drive side or whenever the drive is separated from the housing. | |
| Other Core Parts | ||
| Rotor (ref 8) | Carries the two shoes around the hose. Replace if it is cracked, distorted or damaged at the shoe mounting faces; it is set at a fixed distance from the front of the housing. | |
| Rotor Mounting Bush (ref 5) | The taper bush that clamps the rotor onto the drive shaft. Replace if the rotor has slipped, the bush is damaged or its threads are stripped. | |
| Port Flange Assembly (ref 9) | The complete suction and discharge flange assemblies that clamp the hose ends to the housing. Replace if damaged or corroded beyond what new inserts and seals will fix. | |
| Screw-on Flange (ref 9.5) | The pipe connection flange on each port, offered in BSP and ANSI 150# options for each pump size. Tell us your pipe connection and we’ll match the flange. | |
| Front Cover & Inspection Window (refs 1, 3) | The front cover of the pump housing and its clear inspection window (with O-ring). Replace if the cover is damaged or the window is cracked, crazed or too cloudy to read the lubricant level. | |
| Mounting Frame Assembly (ref 12) | The frame that supports the pump housing and drive. Replace if bent, corroded or damaged. | |
How we confirm the exact part: Verderflex VF 100-125 parts depend on the pump size, the hose material, the port flange insert material and the pipe connection fitted to your pump. The refs and part numbers shown are as printed in the Verderflex VF 100-125 spare parts list; your nameplate carries the pump type (e.g. VF 100), the serial number and the year of manufacture, which together pin down the build. Tick the items above and add a nameplate photo, and we’ll confirm the correct parts for your exact pump.
Models
The pump type is the first field on the Verderflex nameplate (e.g. VF 125), followed by the serial number and year of manufacture. Both sizes below are covered by the Verderflex VF 100-125 spare parts list.

Part numbers as printed in the Verderflex VF 100-125 Spare Parts List (version 4.5v-09/2021); fill volumes and pressure from the VF 100-125 operating manual (4.3v-10/2019). The NBR-F food-grade hose is not offered for the VF 125. Shim count, maximum continuous speed and flow depend on the duty and are given on your pump’s datasheet; check insert temperature limits on the datasheet too.
Troubleshooting
Pump housing running abnormally hot
Likely cause: wrong lubricant, a low or contaminated (blackened) lubricant charge, too many shims, or the pump running faster than needed. Action: top up or change to the correct Verderflex lubricant, remove any excess shims and bring the speed down to the minimum the duty allows.
Low flow or pressure
Likely cause: a failed hose, a closed suction or discharge valve, a blocked or restrictive suction line, or incorrect shoe shimming. Action: open the valves and clear the suction line; if the hose has failed or output is down about 25%, fit a new hose with a flange sealing kit.
Pump and pipework vibrating
Likely cause: long or undersized suction/discharge lines, a faulty pulsation dampener, unsecured pipework, or too little lubricant in the housing. Action: shorten or upsize the lines where possible, check the dampener, secure the pipework and fill the lubricant to the correct level.
Hose pulled into the pump housing
Likely cause: inlet pressure too high, a blocked or incorrectly fitted hose, or large particles in the product. Action: reduce the inlet pressure, clear and correctly refit the hose, and screen the suction without starving the pump.
Short hose life
Likely cause: worn or damaged pump housing, rotor or shoes, over-shimming, or a pump running too fast for the duty. Action: inspect the housing, rotor, shoes and inserts at every hose change and replace worn parts; check shimming and speed against the datasheet.
Lubricant leaking from the pump
Likely cause: worn or damaged front cover, inspection window or port flange O-rings, or a failed drive gasket. Action: find the leak point and renew the relevant O-ring or gasket, then refill to the middle level mark before restarting.
