Ebsray RC Series LPG Pumps
Spare Parts for Ebsray RC20, RC25 and RC40 Regenerative Turbine LPG Pumps
Product Summary
Genuine OEM spare parts for Ebsray RC20, RC25 and RC40 regenerative turbine pumps, the Australian-made LPG pumps behind autogas dispensers, cylinder filling, forklift refuelling and vaporiser feed. Mechanical seal assemblies, the seal cartridge, impeller, bearings and O-rings are listed below by the Cat # in Ebsray’s RC IOM.
Spare Parts List
✓ Tick the parts you need. Items are listed by the Cat # printed in each Ebsray IOM parts list, so pick the section for your pump type. Ebsray matches spares to the pump serial number on the nameplate, so add a nameplate photo and we’ll confirm the exact parts.

How we confirm the exact part: Ebsray parts are ordered by name, Cat # and quantity against the pump serial number on the nameplate, as each IOM instructs, because materials, seals and options vary by build. Cat numbers on this page are as printed in the current Ebsray installation, operation and maintenance instructions (IOMs). Send the serial number or a nameplate photo and we’ll confirm the right genuine parts before we quote.
Service Intervals & When to Replace
- Periodic inspection: Ebsray recommends a maximum interval of three months or 500 hours of operation – check for LPG leaks, vibration, abnormal noise, overheating, coupling wear, pump differential pressure and motor current.
- Lubrication: The RC ball bearings are grease lubricated and sealed for life, so no in-service lubrication is required on the pump.
- Impeller wear limits: Minimum worn width is 8.86 mm (RC20), 9.86 mm (RC25) and 14.86 mm (RC40); minimum worn diameter is 109.86 mm (RC20/RC25) and 117.86 mm (RC40). The impeller must keep an accurate free sliding fit on the shaft and key.
- Mechanical seal and quill: The complete seal assembly or complete quill assembly can be swapped with the pump in line once it is isolated, depressurised and purged. Replace the seal at major overhauls, never mix parts between seal assemblies, and assemble the seal faces dry and clean.
- Bearings and O-rings: Bearing replacement is recommended at no more than 10,000 operational hours, and all O-rings should be replaced at every overhaul or whenever the pump is opened.
Models
This page covers Ebsray RC Series pumps. The model, type and serial number are on the pump nameplate; Ebsray matches spares to the serial number.
Models & Key Specifications
| Model | Type | Ports (inlet x discharge) | Max flow | Parts list |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| RC20 | Regenerative turbine, close-coupled | see nameplate / brochure | – | IOM 1989-19EN |
| RC25 | Regenerative turbine, close-coupled | see nameplate / brochure | – | IOM 1989-19EN |
| RC40 | Regenerative turbine, close-coupled | 1-1/2" NPT x 1" NPT (or flanged) | 165 L/min (50 Hz), 195 L/min (60 Hz) | IOM 1989-19EN |
RC40 figures from Ebsray’s RC40 product data; parts from IOM 1989-19EN. Typical uses: autogas dispensing, cylinder filling, forklift refuelling and burner or vaporiser feed. LPG pump parts must be fitted by a licensed gas fitter or a qualified technician.
Troubleshooting
Pump will not prime or build differential pressure
Likely cause: The IOM expects the pump to build differential pressure immediately after start-up; failure points to the pump not being liquid filled, a closed inlet, or vapour unable to clear through a restricted bypass return-to-tank line. Action: Switch off straight away, confirm the tank has adequate liquid, the inlet valve is open and the bypass return line is unrestricted, then restart.
Low differential pressure or flow
Likely cause: Bypass valve set too low, or an impeller worn below its minimum width or diameter. Action: Screw the bypass adjusting screw in (clockwise, no faster than two turns per minute) and, if still low, check the impeller against the minimum dimensions in Section 5.5.
Motor current above FLA or motor overheating
Likely cause: Running against a closed or restricted discharge or bypass, or a bypass setting that is too high. Action: Open the discharge and bypass valves and back off the bypass setting – motor current must never exceed the motor FLA rating.
LPG leak, noise or vibration found at inspection
Likely cause: Worn or damaged mechanical seal faces, worn ball bearings or a worn coupling. Action: Cease operation, then replace the mechanical seal assembly and O-rings and inspect the bearings, which should be replaced at no more than 10,000 operational hours.

Ebsray RC Series spare parts: frequently asked questions
Tap a question to see the answer.
What spare parts are listed for Ebsray RC Series pumps?
Each section follows the parts designation list in the Ebsray IOM for that model or pump type (RC20, RC25 and RC40), with the Cat # as printed. Seals come first, then the main wearing parts, bearings, O-rings and gaskets, valve parts and the main castings.
How do I order the right parts for my Ebsray pump?
Ebsray matches spares to the serial number on the pump nameplate, together with the part name, Cat # and quantity. Tick the parts you need, pick your model in the quote form and add a nameplate photo, and we will confirm the exact genuine parts before quoting.
Pump will not prime or build differential pressure: what should I check?
The IOM expects the pump to build differential pressure immediately after start-up; failure points to the pump not being liquid filled, a closed inlet, or vapour unable to clear through a restricted bypass return-to-tank line. Switch off straight away, confirm the tank has adequate liquid, the inlet valve is open and the bypass return line is unrestricted, then restart.
Do you supply parts for other Ebsray pumps?
Yes. We list parts for Ebsray LPG regenerative turbine, rotary vane and internal gear pumps. See our Ebsray LPG turbine pumps or all Ebsray spare parts by series. Not sure which series you have? Send a nameplate photo and we’ll identify it.
